BWT Condensate

The BWT Condensate Neutraliser is easily installed and offers an effective solution for neutralising acidic discharge from modern gas-fired condensing boilers up to 35kW. It uses a neutralising agent that eliminates the acidity of the condensate before it is discharged into the drain. The neutralising charge is easily topped up without the use of special tools during regular annual boiler servicing. The Condensate Neutraliser is also overflow protected to prevent accidental local discharge for added peace of mind.

User Benefits:

  • Neutralises acidic discharge from gas condensing boilers up to 35 kW.
  • 2 Year Warranty
  • Easy refill of the neutralising charge without the need for tools.
  • Refill autonomy: 1 year or more.

Technical Benefits:

  • Ergonomic design and easy to install.
  • Ideal for all individual boilers up to 35 kW.

APPLICATIONS:
Condensate from condensing boilers is acidic (pH between 2.5 and 5 depending on the fuel type). The condensate neutralisers contain a neutralising agent that eliminates the acidity of the condensate before it is discharged into the drain. It is designed for wall-mounted boilers up to 35 kW and is supplied with a neutralising charge.

BWT Condensates 0–35 kW:

  • Suitable for all individual boilers up to 35 kW
  • Ideal for individual housing in collective buildings
  • Ergonomic design: can be installed on drainage or piping. (Mounting collar included)
  • Refill frequency: 1 year or more
  • Overflow protection system included

MAINTENANCE
The neutralising charge should be replaced when depleted, or ideally once a year to prevent excessive clogging of the device.

To check and maintain the proper functioning of your Condensate Neutraliser:

  • Periodically, check the pH of the outgoing water using a pH strip (the pH should be above 6.5).
  • If pH is below 6.5 please check the level of the neutraliser (white granules) inside and top up if necessary.
  • Clean the device with each neutralising charge replacement. Rinsing the granules can help extend the lifespan and effectiveness of the neutralising charge.
